Building a House in Taos
It is hard to believe that we have less than a week before spring break is here. In just a few days, nineteen others and I will be building an adobe house in Taos, New Mexico. It is not everyday that I have the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity building an adobe house, let alone seeing one. I am so excited. And on our free day, we were given free lift tickets to go skiing and also snow shoeing. Then at night we are going to take a swim in the “hot springs” located in the mountains.
We actually went to Sam’s Club today to buy some food; I bet it looks extremely funny seeing someone check out with twenty loaves of bread.
We have such a great group of cobbers going and I cannot wait to see how God works through us all and also all that we learn from this experience.
