The Meaning of Life

Valentine'sHaving 4th graders bring you Valentine cards seriously could make one’s life. It made mine.

Today I went to an elementary school where I teach some of the sweetest childen in the world. We had only been in their classroom for 2 days and they thought to bring two fellow teachers and me Valentines. They even gave me a Valentine that was meant for someone else. I mean, it actually had someone else’s name on it. (more…)

Friends I’ll be honest; I thought the first week of school as a freshman was going to be the scariest thing in the world.

It was my first time away from home and I was scared I was going to be sitting alone in my room.

This past Saturday Olsen Forum at Concordia turned into dodgeball mania. The Students in Free Enterprise hosted the 2nd annual Dodgeball tournament. (more…)

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT!!

tripod-007.jpgThis past weekend was one of the best weekends ever! One of my friends who used to go here, Alicia Monson, and her girlfriend, Gwyn, came down from St. Cloud this weekend to visit me and see our amazing friend Marit Geston in The Miracle Worker.

Even though I was really tired that weekend from a long week, I had sooo much fun! We ordered pizza, played Jenga, and watched a movie, made breakfast twice, played guitars at Maurgarite’s Music, saw Apocalypto at Safari, ate dinner at The Norm, saw the play, and went to the band home concert all in one weekend!
