High School Musical…graham crackers…frosting
What is better than getting together with twenty friends, sitting in one room, watching High School Musical and eating graham crackers with frosting? Well pretty much nothing after our first week back from break.
Jumping right back into school after an amazing week in Taos was so hard. It was weird having class again for the whole day, but after the first couple days, I was used to it and loving it once again. However it did go by very fast and when the weekend came…I rejoiced (I was excited to sleep in). Saturday was amazing!! I was able to go to coffee with a close friend and catch up, and I got to spend a whole night with many of college friends. After this week, we decided that playing games and watching a movie would be the best things to do. Anything else would have required too much thinking; our brains were definitely taking a break.
Game night was hilarious. We played Apples to Apples and some people had some creative definitions. Who would have thought that Playdough could be considered sophisticated?
The highlight of the night, however, was definitely watching High School Musical and eating graham crackers with frosting. We all squished into a living room in Bogs (on-campus apartment) and started singing along with the movie.
It was a really good week and a good weekend. And next weekend, I get to do training for orientation committee. Orientation is something that many people like to be involved in. We have the opportunity to apply to be leaders, so when school starts and the entire incoming freshmen get here, we have he honor of being orientation leaders for them through all their activities. I even just found out my partner…I am so excited!!!! Life is just filled with never ending blessings.
