Me…American Idol?!?
As time draws near, and school is about to end…I am getting so excited for what lies ahead.
A couple weeks ago we had our Orientation training for this coming fall. This is a major event on campus when all of the new incoming freshmen come to school early for amazing activities!!!
I was lucky enough to be chosen and paired with an amazing partner. What an event to look forward to.
Also, my clinical experience has continued and I think it actually occurred to me today how much I am going to miss them. I wrote a song for them today to help teach about the nervous system. They sang along with me and when we were done they clapped. It was so cute. Then they followed their compliments with applause.
How precious are their hearts? They are very precious. And I am pretty sure the most amazing part was when my fifth graders told me I should try out for American Idol, talking about boosting ones self-esteem.
In response, I pretty much did not have another option, than to write another song for tomorrow about our five senses. This has been a great experience and I feel so privileged have had this opportunity.
