Working out…
I’ve always dreaded two things, working out and studying. I have learnt that both of them are essential in a person’s life and helps shape their future. Even though I was aware of this a long time back I had not done anything to change me lifestyle! I have finally found a time that works out great for me to work out. Studying, I still haven’t figured out that one yet, the day shall come…I used to be nervous to walk into our gym by myself but now it doesn’t bother me one bit. And I feel rejuvenated after I work out and I like that feeling J
Each treadmill, elliptical or bike in our gym has a TV attached to it. This makes working out even more fun for me because I end up watching 45 minutes of some show and I forget that I am actually working out. The day before yesterday I watched Reba for almost an hour. And I felt great after riding the bike, indoors with air-conditioning and a TV. A lot of people like to be outdoors but I prefer being inside with best of facilities available to students.
One of my friends forgot to bring her key to access the gym and she had to climb over the big gate to get in. No one said anything because we identified her as a fellow cobber. I see a lot of people who come there on a regular basis and I encourage myself to make healthy choices like them. My goal with going to the gym every day is be fit and healthy. It’s funny how some people sweat like crazy and look like they’ve been working out so hard. In my case no matter how hard I try I never get icky. Going to the gym has become one my priorities during the summer and I hope it continues to be that way during the school year too.
I am still working on finding something fun to do on a regular basis. If you guys have any ideas please let me know.
