Is it spring yet?
Sandals or shoes, jeans or Capri’s, this is the time of year when the weather is so random, you don’t know what would be suitable to wear. I have been so confused over the last couple of days regarding the type of clothing I should wear.
The weather has been wonderful every now again and then it gets ugly all of a sudden. Last week all the snow had melted and gone away and the grass was starting to turn green, and BOOM! We had about 4 inches of snow of on Friday. Then it got really warm on Saturday and all the snow was melting and it was wet and icky everywhere. Just plain old disgusting!
We had snow again this week and then it has been just absolutely gorgeous the last couple of days. I have been unable to decide whether or not I should put my winter jacket in storage and pull out my summer shoes. I am just going through a phase where I don’t quite want to give up my jacket but at the same time I have been walking around with shades onJ. People have been looking at me as though I am crazy, which I probably am at to a certain level, but hey, I can’t help it! And guess what? It’s supposed to snow again tonight.
Enough about the weather, I have been going crazy making all the arrangements for the ISO festival. I have been making calls to make sure we are going to have food there, keeping in touch with all of my participants and committee members and making sure the invitations are being sent out. It has been a really busy for me and I am glad it’s almost Friday. I had two papers due this week, like 4 meetings, and chores to do at homeL. I still have to finish up my research for my history independent study which is due TOMORROW.
I was just thinking today about how I haven’t spent time with my friends or family for a long time due to my responsibilities as a student and the president of an organization! I think I am going to make tomorrow night a movie night with friends and just hang out. And that’s what I call college life, work, work and more work!
