It’s over :(

Picture this:

You hand in your final test while thinking to yourself, “It’s over. It doesn’t matter what you grade you get on this test because it’s done now.  Never again will I have to take this class.”  Then right before you walk open the door to leave the building you realize you have just finished your last final of the semester.  You’re free!!!

Then, almost like a sign from God, you open the door and are blinded from the sunlight.  As your slow dialating pupils start to correct the over exposure you start to see something.  What you see cause many emotions to surface.  You feel glad, sad and releaved.  Your memories of your family rushes through your mind along with memories of past and current friends.  You than realize that you must take part in what you see before you.  What you see is (more…)

Yay Work!!!

Well the week before finals and finals week is usually some of the craziest weeks here at Concordia. Some people get so overwhelmed and get stressed for short periods at a time. I however, this semester, am close to this ailment, but have been able to stay one step ahead of it. I have a final test and two final projects due next week. I know the material for the test and I only have to complete the projects. (more…)

New Show at the Museum

Sunday was the last day to view the Art of China and Japan exhibition at the museum in the main gallery.

Since it was such a successful show we have decided to keep it up. So instead of taking it down for good, we’re moving it upstairs. This has been quite the adventure.

It began with getting the room ready for the exhibition. In the room was art from two of our past shows, Brad Bachmier pottery and African Art. (more…)

Catch me if you can…

This week should have been a more difficult week for me than it was. Usually the week after a show ends I have a lot of catching up to do in most of my classes. This week was also the week before Easter break when most teachers are attempting to milk a little more out of you before break. This week should have been a double whammy for me, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. (more…)
